Technical Content Writer at JAC Media & Technology

We are looking to Hire a technical content writer to produce engaging, persuasive content and messaging that generates traffic, leads and brand awareness. Sitting within an in-house marketing team, you should be comfortable writing a range of assets, including, blogs, ebooks, landing pages, website content, case studies and video scripts. The fast-paced environment means you must be comfortable switching between varied tasks and juggling different priorities to ensure deadlines are met. and you must be ready to work from home and report to the head as stipulated.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day production of creative and compelling content

·        Contribute blogs, web copy and assets for a range of audiences

·        Work with technical specialists to produce deep long-form content

·        Translating complex technical requirements into engaging digestible formats

·        Align with digital marketing and sales teams to ensure a consistent, coherent voice

·        Disseminate marketing messaging and ideas to other members of the team

·        Ensure deadlines are met to support product updates and releases

Curating, editing and refining existing content

·        Management of existing assets, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date

·        Ensure content is aligned to the latest industry trends

·        Editing and proof-reading content is written by other team members

·        Working with digital marketing to provide appropriate collateral for campaigns

Applying core concepts of SEO to new and existing content

·        Establishing consistent SEO process across a key website/landing pages

·        Using SEO tools to target areas of improvement

·        Build, execute and manage an ongoing SEO strategy for organic lead improvement

·        Disseminating marketing messaging and targeting guidelines to other members of the team

Key Requirements

·        Bachelor’s (2.1 or above – preferably in English or a humanities course)

·        2+ years’ experience in a similar role, e.g. copywriting, product marketing etc

·        In-house experience at a software house

·        Understanding of marketing tools, e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, etc

·        Knowledge of the full marketing and sales funnel, and the role content plays in this

·        Analytic approach to the performance of the content

·        Demonstrable interest in technology and/or business strategy
