DRIVER GRADE II
Kariakoo Markets Corporation is an autonomous Government Institution established under the Kariakoo Markets Corporation Act No. 36 of 1974 (Revised by the Act No. 16 of 1985, to manage and control the Kariakoo Markets and establish and manage other markets in the City of Dar Es Salaam.
Administratively the Kariakoo Markets Corporation is under the President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government. The Corporation therefore invites applications from suitably qualified Tanzanians to fill the following vacant job positions:
DRIVER GRADE II -1 POST
Duties and Responsibilities.
i/ Drives properly corporation vehicles and motorcycles.
ii/ Ensures that vehicle, motor vehicle assigned is parked in safe place.
iii/ Maintains and record movements of the vehicles in the log boot.
iv/ Ensures that the vehicle is well maintained and kept in good running condition.
v/ Collects and dispatches outgoing and incoming emails.
vii/ Ensures availability of vehicle equipment and tools every time.
viii/ Besides driving duties, he/she will perform basic office related
tasks such as filling documents, photocopying, delivery and
collection of various items.
ix/ Performs any other duty as may be assigned by Supervisor.
– Must possess Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV or VI), a clean and valid class “C” driving license of at least three years. A
Trade Test Grade II in motor vehicle driving from a recognized
institution, and with at least two years working experience in
