Why You Should Consider a Cavapoo Puppy

The Cavapoo Puppy (also known as a Cavachon) is one of those hybrid dogs that you either love or hate. These unusual pooches are perfect for those looking for low maintenance, family-friendly pet. The Cavapoo is the offspring of an English Cocker Spaniel and a miniature Poodle.

With these two parent breeds being so different in appearance, it’s safe to say that the end result is quite unusual! Let’s take a closer look at why you should consider getting a Cavapoo puppy. Cavapoos are friendly and sociable dogs with lots of energy to keep them occupied.

They make great companions for people living on their own or apartment dwellers who don’t have much outdoor space available to them. Get ready to be charmed by these interesting hybrids!

They’re not too big and they’re not too small

If you’re living in a small apartment, or you have limited outdoor space, you’ll want to choose a breed of dog that is small in size. You don’t want to get a breed that will outgrow your home quickly.

A Cavapoo is a very small dog, that weighs between 11-22 pounds. This means that they are an ideal family dog for those living in large properties and those who have the space to walk their dog regularly.

They don’t shed a lot

While shedding is normal for all dogs, you’ll notice that Cavapoos shed very little. This means that you don’t have to spend as much time cleaning up dog hair from your floor and furniture. You won’t have to vacuum and mop as frequently. The only time you’ll notice hair around the house is if you decide to groom your dog at home.

They’re smart and trainable

Cavapoos are very intelligent and eager to learn. If you get a puppy, you can start to train them as soon as they are 12 weeks old. You can teach them to sit, stay, and walk on a leash. You can also train them in other tricks if you have the time and patience to do so.

Cavapoos make great companions for people who work from home or have a flexible work schedule. You can train your dog to stay in their crate while you are out of the house so that they don’t get into any trouble.

They just want to have fun!

Cavapoos love to run, jump, and play. They even have a reputation for being a bit wild and boisterous as puppies! They are extremely energetic dogs that have a lot of energy to burn off. This energy could be a good or bad thing depending on whether you have time to take your dog for plenty of walks and playtime.

If you are a busy person, you’re going to want to choose a more relaxed breed of dog that doesn’t require so much attention and exercise. Cavapoos love to swim, and are great swimmers! This makes them a great option if you want to take your dog to the beach. If you don’t have time to take your dog on long walks and swims, this breed may not be right for you.

And there’s more…

Cavapoos are great for children, easygoing, and patient. They get along well with other dogs if socialized with them early on. They are even-tempered and get along well with most other animals. They are also good for allergy sufferers.

So, should you get a Cavapoo?

If you’re looking for a small, low-maintenance dog that is friendly to both kids and other animals, then the Cavapoo is the dog for you. They are good for people living in large properties or with a flexible work schedule.

You also don’t have to worry about shedding hair on your furniture since these dogs don’t shed very much. If you have the time to play with, train, and walk your Cavapoo, then you will enjoy a lifetime of happiness with these charming pooches!
